Bridging the Gap between Education and Industry.

The Forklift University Education Foundation is committed to improving vocational education by offering extensive forklift operator training programs.

With more than two decades of experience, our mission is to equip individuals with skills through a hybrid educational method. By combining conventional training with VR (Virtual Forklift Simulators), we ready them for successful operating a forklift in any environment. Our goal is to establish self-sustaining programs within schools by educating the staff. This will enable students and community members to gain the essential skills required to obtain employment as forklift operators.

Our cutting-edge Virtual Forklift Simulators offer the most realistic and immersive training experience available, setting a new standard in forklift education. By integrating VR technology with our proven training materials and methodologies, we ensure that trainees receive the highest quality education in a safe and controlled environment.

Our foundation collaborates with educational institutions to establish forklift driver training centers, providing students and adults with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and valuable job skills. Through these initiatives, we are committed to fostering a skilled workforce and contributing to the economic growth of our communities. Join us in our mission to transform forklift training and open doors to new career opportunities.

Classroom instruction is important for any training program. The training materials provided are the most complete and engaging anywhere.

While all the materials are OSHA compliant, they go beyond just compliance and engage the student. With versions targeted for the appropriate age level and educational environment, Forklift University Educational Foundation modifies each set of training materials to fit your organizations training needs.

Training materials are available in our own LMS system or can be adapted to your system. Classroom training can be done in a classroom let by a trained instructor or online for hybrid or distance learning programs.

These training programs can be integrated into our Virtual Reality Forklift Simulator with grade books and skills assessments built in. Or for those that wish to go "old school" we have training programs for real-life hands-on forklift training. No matter the training delivery style your group wishes to deploy, there is a program and training materials to support you.

While clasNEW Mexico State VR sroom training is important, to build real world skills that will help a student gain employment, hands on experience must be obtained. Statistics show that students retain, 80% of their training information when they experience the training. Yet, with forklift training this can be a daunting task. Real forklifts can be dangerous and are expensive, require maintenance and a facility that has racking and other supporting items.

However, with a Virtual Forklift Simulator real life can be imitated to a great degree and above all, maintain a safe learning environment for students and faculty. The Virtual Forklift Simulator utilized by the Forklift University Education Foundation, is from an established and time-tested virtual reality training company, Virtual Forklift. The training programs in this simulator are real world designed, with introductory training modules on up to advanced training for loading box and flatbed trailers, as well as specialized modules for learning about forklift attachments.

In addition to the standard, student centric VR system, NEXUS, Virtual Forklift also has the only forklift simulator that is multi-person designed for your instructors to be in the training environment with the student(s) and instruct, move cones and pallets and evaluate their skills in real time. This system, Virtual Forklift LIVE, can be used by the instructor in the classroom or remotely since there are no geographical limitations to the training environment.

Using a next generation development platform and high-quality VR Goggles from HTC students gain driving experience and skills in a very realistic environment. While VR is not real life, most students will gain the skills and confidence to easily transition to the workplace much more rapidly and with greater experience than without any training. Even compared to hands on driving programs, VR can provide many more experiences, different scenarios and even add different attachments that can be cost prohibitive to many training facilities.
